With the copying live action if you do the stunts that's perfectly fine on the other hand I think it's OK to copy others' actions as long as you don't go overboard with it.😅

In my country there's no like animation school or anything like that. But i try animation for my self i really want to improve and impress the people in my studio [youtube studio] i want to make my own cartoon one day so i just practice by like *sigh* creating projects and learn about my ocs (original characters) i just can't recall me as a good animator cause I'm very very bad like my art is *clears throat* ugly.

Holy shit I really needed this video. I've struggled with this for like ever and got so unbeliveably concerned that I had some kind of undiagnosed Autism/ADHD. But I don't, yet I keep having these exact issues and it turns out this is my exact problem. Although currently my lists solution of "currently working on" projects always ends up growing longer than my "plan to do list" because or my crippling perfectionism. 🙃

As a creative who tried to get a more conventional job at a point of my career where I had strong doubts, all I can tell is that it doesn't get easier there either. You're still expected to be a highly skilled professional who walks the extra mile and does his extra hours for little money. I think a lot of creatives are often disillusioned with the industry because they fell for this "Pick a career you like and you wont have to work a single day and everything will be a cakewalk"-BS. Yeah, not gonna happen. Work is hard. ...but if you're a creative, you're probably right in the creative industry, even if things could be better in terms of work environments and paychecks.

I have been drawing for 7 months and i still cant do a good face while other draw for 30 to 50 days and the go "hey look at me" and here i am i cant even do half aswell. This is the reason i am just not having fun anymore. I also see that i'm not learning from my mistakes. And people on discord noticed this and stoped giving me feedback. So i am all alone now and no teacher or mentor to help guide me.

I'm jealous that others can get some kind of funding to do personal projects while I have to stay at a dead end job that pays crap while taking all my time away from from perfecting my craft that I hope to one day make money off of. Even if others also have jobs that they are obligated to do, I'm jealous that I can't have a good work balance without worrying about my income. I WANT to be paid to draw, but my living expenses force me to do things that don't make me a better animator.

I use live action video clips of rain composited with my stop motion. Suuuuuck it!
